Reconstructive areola tattoos

I offer custom areola & 3D nipple tattoos designed to enhance symmetry and/or cover scarring resulting from breast surgeries. I’ll work with you to choose the new areola & nipple placement size, shape, and color to create a realistic outcome. Pre-operative photos may be used for size and color inspiration, and we’ll work together to design something that works with your body and feels like you.

Before + After

The Basics

We recommend waiting at least 3 months after your last surgery. If you are unsure how long you need to wait after surgery, consult with your doctor or email us to schedule a consultation. The process is usually complete in one appointment but sometimes a follow-up is needed depending on your individual healing process. If a touch-up is needed, we will make a follow up appointment 4 to 6 weeks after the initial treatment.

Aftercare:

You will be given detailed aftercare instructions at the end of your appointment. While the tattoo is healing you will need to avoid submerging the tattooed area in water for at least two weeks, and keep it out of direct sunlight for 4 weeks. Most of the initial fading will happen within the first two weeks. As long as there is no direct sun exposure, your tattoo should last a lifetime.
