Tattooing services
Most tattoo studios and shops are the same.
They are predominantly male run shops that can be intimidating spaces. Lots of noise, shop talk, and other clients/customers that can create distraction - not only for you, but for your artist as well.
The goal of Magnolia Tattoo studio is to offer a different kind of experience when getting tattooed.
I offer a calm, personal environment that includes only the artist and the client.
Receiving a tattoo is such a personal experience, and I want to create a space that reflects that.
The details
01. Consultation
We start with an email to discuss your tattoo idea and begin the planning process. If a more in-depth session is needed, a consultation appointment can be booked. This is not an appointment to get tattooed - only to discuss the idea.
02. Tattoo
I book sessions based off of time needed for each project. Sessions range from 30 mins up to 4 hours. Longer sessions are available for bigger projects.
03. Pricing
We have a shop minimum of $100. I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold an appointment date for a new project. The deposit will be applied to the price of your tattoo as long as you show up on time for your appointment. Your appointment is not confirmed until you pay the deposit and you receive the confirmation email. We request that you pay your invoice within 48 hours of receiving it.
04. Scheduling
If you need to reschedule, you must give at least 48 hours’ notice. If you do this, I will move your deposit with your new appointment. If you don’t give proper notice to reschedule, you will forfeit your deposit.

The best way to book an appointment is through email or through the contact form on the website. Email: info@magnoliatattoostudio.com From there you will receive detailed instructions on all the info I need from you to complete the booking process. I do not take new appointments over the phone.

Generally, no. If I have a cancellation I may post something on my social media (@magnolia.tattoo.studio). I primarily operate as appointment only.

I recommend eating a good meal before the appointment, staying hydrated and getting a good night’s rest. Make sure in the days leading up to your appointment you keep the area that is getting tattooed out of and protected from the sun. If the skin is sunburned, I will not be able to tattoo you.
Avoid heavy alcohol consumption in the days leading up to your appointment as hangovers and dehydration can affect how well your skin takes the ink.
Being physically and mentally prepared will help you sit better through your session. Don’t forget to breathe!

I will present the design to you upon arrival for your appointment but I do not let any artwork leave the shop before the appointment to protect my work. If any changes need to be made to the artwork I am always happy to do so at the time of the appointment. Just ask! I make sure to book a buffer with each appointment to allow for redraw time if needed.

This varies greatly by size, placement on the body, and color vs black and grey and level of detail. Its impossible to give an exact estimate as tattooing isn’t an exact science. I try to give a ball park estimate during the initial conversation and consultation.

I would prefer if you came alone but I understand that sometimes it’s nice to have a friend with you to help calm the nerves. You can bring up to one guest with you. My space isn’t very large so I cannot accommodate more than one guest besides the client getting tattooed.

No. It is not advised to get tattooed while either pregnant or breastfeeding.

No. I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. No exceptions.
